toprow question

I want to remove the image in top row. I noticed in another post CSS code that places an image over the existing background, but the blue underneath always shows for a second when the page loads. How do I remove the existing background? I wouldn't mind it if i had a pink / purpleish option to choose from, or was able to edit it to that color, but none of the preset styles come close to what I'm looking for

im working on a local host right now. This is a screen shot of what I'm talking about. Even if the background is set to cover, a little blue always peeks through the bottom.

Relay need to inspect it live so conclude what is problem.
