Want to remove "Latest Blog Posts" frontpage

content pan is still showing there in front page after putting this code. See my site

Well I still don't see changes in your template_css.css (can't find .blog-featured line) maybe is some server delay. Be patient

In have cleared the cathces but still the white content pan is showing below. Thouge blog name removed.

I understand that you just want to remove that text, put this to remove entire field

The content pan with no featured article is appearing in the frontpage is due to Home Page in the Top Menu is set to show featured articles. If there is no featured article, it is showing the blank pan. If it is possible to create an article with no comtent and set it not show on home page and Home Page in Top Menu is linked to this article then may be the article pan will no longer be seen. I have done this before with my old site but now I forget. Can you provide the information.

Well there isn't such option for single article.
