The documentation is changing with each new framework version and with each new version of Joomla. Therefore, it requires extra effort to keep printable PDFs up to date, and our resources are limited. So, we decided to discontinue this after Joomla 4 was released and keep all documentation online. The info that you found is not correct and we deleted the sentence about PDF.
