Hi,
after Migration to Joomla 4.3.4, I installed newest version of Template Sparks and the other extensions like carousel ... : installation successful.
The website has 2 languages: de, en
de: everything ok, Top Menu is shown properly.
But Error: Switching to language en: Menu English is not shown!
Settings:
Menus:
Top Menu (de) -> module "Top Menu", position: "topmenu",
Menu English (en) -> module "Menu English", position: "topmenu"
Note: In module settings - position, there is a dropdown selection list. But in the position list the position "topmenu" is missing!!
I had to type the position "topmenu" manually with keyboard!!
Sparks layout has many positions, which are not displayed in the module position list!!
Tempate Styles: sparky framework, sparks (Default)
Menus:
Top Menu settings: Drop down, ...
Menu English settings: Copy from Top Menu
Regards. Gerhard

Hello,
There's no module position "topmenu" in any of our templates, both J3 and J4. So, maybe you created this module position yourself by adding it to the template XML file and, after the template update, this change is overwritten.
For more details, I will have to check your Joomla administrator. You can post site access on the forum privately if you select a part of the text and click the "lock" (confidential) icon.
Regards,
Milos

Hello,
The "topmenu" is not a module position. This is a menu object in the Sparky Layout (therefore it's green color). So, if you want to have a multilingual menu, you must remove the "topmenu" from the layout and replace it with one of the remaining module positions (for example "top3").
Then, you publish your menus in this module position.
Regards,
Milos
