Hi Support,

A fresh hotstart installation of the Startup template does not start the default joomla hotstart installation. Other templates like Sparks, CV and Onepage install without any problems (hotstart). After investigating the files and folders the permissions are different than all other templates after extraction. Normally folders have 755 and files have 644, but after extraction the Startup template has folders with 777 and 666 for folders. Could this be the reason of the 500 Internal Server Error at hoekschecloud.nl/startup

Hope you can help with this one because this template fits exactly fot what it is needed!

Hello Martijn,

yes that can be the cause. You should change files permissions to 644 and folders to 755.

Best regards

Thanks for your reply.

There are 100s of folders in folders in folders. Changing the permissions will take days. Other hotstart templates are extracted with the right permissions.

Is it possible to change the permissions in the hotstart of the beautiful startup template?

Kind Regards,

Well you automatically change permissions in sub folders, you don't do that manually. So maybe it will last for an hour maximum.
There should be option if you want to set just to certain folder.
Our templates goes with right permissions, but many servers change it while extracting etc.

Something else is different with this template. I have installed dozens of your templates on this server and the server has never changed the permissions. I have 777 and 666 for the first time.
