Multilingual joomla - Menu not switching languages was created by underground1
Greetings,
I am having a problem with the menu part of multilingual joomla.
Following this guide: www.scribd.com/doc/82768844/Joomla-2-5-m...tensions-in-10-steps I recreated all the steps. Every module and article switches fine, but the menu stays the same, always.
The website will have 3 languages: Slovenian, Croatian and English.
The created menus are: Croatian, Slovenian, English and Main Menu.
Every module and article has its own copy for each specific language.
I created a template with Hot Startup for each language, with each of the templates having:
- In menus setting tab of the chosen language template, only the menu for that specific language has the settings set up
- In menus assignment tab, only the menu items for the language are assigned.
What seems to happen is: The site keeps on searching for Main Menu, no matter if the url is /sl/, /hr/, or /en/.
Any idea how this could be fixed? If it's hard to understand, I can provide screenshots.

Hello,
If you want to have menus in multiple languages, then you must use module position for the top menu (in Sparky's Layout Editor), not the menu position. Then on this module position you can publish menu modules for all languages. You can still change styling of the menu through Sparky Menu Editor.
Thanks
