Hello,
This is not something that's related to this or any other template. Basically, you need to create a menu item of type Users > Login Form. When any user (including Editors) login to the front end from this menu item, he will get the appropriate privileges. Also, you should create another menu item of the type Articles > Create article and allow access to this menu item to the Editors only.
