mod_hot_effects_rotator with problems (J3.0)

I replaced the module at position top-1 at menu item home with the module Hot Effects Rotator. First i had to disable loading the jQery, because all menu items and sub menu items were visible.

But the rotator does not work correctly. It is not placed in the position top-1 and i see the first image twice. (attached image tennis-03.jpg)
no other module is activated at position top-1. Cache is deleted and deactivated.

I found the solution. I had to edit layout.css and styleX.css.

But i have a padding left beside the rotator. I cannot find where i can change it. In layout.css at .mp_top1 there is only padding-top.
