Site not as expected in Internet Explorer

Hi

When I view my site via Microsoft Internet Explorer the front page is not aligned correctly?
This is a major problem because most people still use IE. What is causing this issue? I checked it in Firefox and Chrome and there are no problems.

If you are talking about IE older than 9 then you must accept rule that it is good if usable. btw. old IE is usually present on terminal computers in large companies, like some big book-keeping agency and if employee did not install some other browser or updated by now that usually means that employee is not using internet or using internet only for usual things required by his job task. Also record of browser use in Jan.Feb and Mar 2013 say IE (all ie versions) < 14%
