template not loading into Joomla 3.3

Hi

Lost all of my joomla databases so I have to rebuild all sites - yuk. I know slack with the backups.

But now I am trying to load my hot_tennis template into Joomla 3.3 ( the latest ) and it goes through the process of uploading - never appears iin the template manager, not on the drive unzipped, no errors displayed.
SOrry the first time I loaded it - it gave the error no directory for template ??? ( or like that )
I manually chmod-ed the templates directory and that removed this error

Any thoughts please
