Just in template - are you sure? Both errors are form things coming form jooomla core

Yes, probably You are right. The error may not be connected with the template. However, the first problem was solved by increasing the value of memory_limit: from 32 to 48. What is memory_limit recommend you?

Current default limit for latest PHP version is 128MB. They increased this by time form 8MB I suppose 128 is their empiric conclusion based on modern sites
