double orders with explorer 10 was created by Darko101
Dear Ivan,
Since 3 weeks we experience double confirmed orders with VM standard Payment method on our site www.mycornetto.nl using HotWachtes. It only happens when using Internet Explorer 10. Chrome, Firefox and Opera work fine.
The site has always generated double orders, but until now only one got confirmed. I suspect the problem might be somewhere in JQuery but have no clue how to solve it.
Kind regards,
Darko Ivancevic

Hi Ivan,
Well I understand your positions, especially because of the terrible double order problem in VM that does not seem to be acknowledged by the developers. The fact is that the site is a copy of 112ola.nl, that uses your hotecommerce template, and that site and others do not have the double order issue. Also www.opleiding-medische-basiskennis.nl that uses the hotwatches has the double order problem (but is a totally different site from the others). All with VM standard payment and not with other payment methods.
I’m at a los figuring out what the cause could be, and the only final thing I could think of was maybe something in the template. I was thinking if I could replace the standard payment method with some other it might well solve it. Problem is I can’t that sort of simple payment method.
All ideas are very appreciated.
So not problem can not be in the template? Why Explorer and not other browsers than?
Kind regards,
Darko

Like this, in our templates we don't touch vm scripts . We just shape that so I dough it could be due template. One thing I could do is to debug script on IE to find js function called twice to ut some flag to prevent it to execute second time. But I would require payment for custom job.
