Hot start in Design Update problems

I am try to update a fresh install through control panel and I get this Joomla! update in progress stuck and won't do anything?

Any ideas?

You used hot start or you install just template????

Used quick start, it wwas broken, like other quick starts I've had, what is wrong with this joomlas

If hot starts are no good, why do they put them out. You might as well use a script install the always brings error and manual is just a son of a gun. Nasty

How do you meant brokem, maybe you tried to "install" hot_start, hot start is whole joomla with demo data , template and modules so you copy hot start files to your web root and start joomla instillation with note that you need to click on install sample data during installation proccess
