Your error says that there is already table in database, so you need to delete that database.

Hmm, I have uninstall and then reinstall several times and am sure that the database is empty. Also, I have tried just installing the boutique template via extensions manager sans the sample content, the template works fine if it is on microsoft web matrix system on windows but it does not work when my site is on wamp server 2.1. Could the different server be the issue?

Please make sure that you don't change wa89g_ as DB table prefix when installing.

Try to install it on a live server. We can't inspect the problem when you are installing on a local server.
