You changes will not be overwritten when you overwrite the file templateDetails.xml

Once you have your new logo image, please use any FTP software such as Filezilla to upload it on your server. You should upload it to the folder /templates/hot_templatename/images and overwrite existing default logo image.

I created my logo in accordance with the original measurements of 288X79 in. PNG and replace it from the ftp on the route that is mentioned at the top of the changes are not recorded.
Note: I am using the custom template.

Make sure you named it properly. Right-click on the logo image and select appropriate option to find out current image logo name. Then name your image like that and upload (overwrite original). Refresh your browser several times after that.
