What host it is? For best Joomla performance I will recommend any cPanel based host. You can find many such hosts for under $5 per month.

godaddy.com

Anyway, I'm trying another hosting now. I'm new to joomla and was hopping to save time with demo installation (hotstart package) and modify content afterwords. and if I understood corectly, one should use template built-in joomla install package... doing this is probably unwanted at godaddy as they provide joomla installation, so when I ask hosting support to increase that execution limit, they recommend me to use their joomla package... anyways I'm trying another hosting now.

Sorry for delay.

Yes, HotStart is actually "modified" version of default Joomla installation. It usually has bigger database with sample data which needs a bit longer execution time allowed by server. However, you can install HotStart even without clicking the "install sample data" button. After installation, you should go to phpMyAdmin section of your hosting backend and import file /installation/sql/mysql/sample_data.sql

You can find this file if you unzip HotStart package to your local computer.

ok, I've finally finished installation, but now the links from homepage to top menu virtuemart parts give me this errors:

Critical: Theme file not found.

Fatal error: Class name must be a valid object or a string in /var/www/sportogolic/data/www/sportogolic.com/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/template.class.php on line 92

Is it virtuemart problem that you mention in install guide?
If so, I've corrected virtuemart.cfg.php but probably that's not enough.

Any suggestions?

When you go to /administrator/components folder with your FTP, so you see com_virtuemart folder at all? Does VirtueMart work in backend?

yes I had virtuemart component at joomla backend and on ftp. "Had" because I've just uninstalled it and will now try to reinstall (as I've seen somewhere in your instructions)

I have another question, how to make cyrilic fonts appear in the same style as latin? My whole site suppose to be in Russian and it's going to be really pity if that is impossible:(

And thanks you, Milos, for consistent replies.
