Unable to Get User3 Menus to work - Joomla 2.5

Fresh install/sample, imported to the DB - a mess

Manual instruction are joomla 1.5 specific, how can i enable User3 menus? I've tried everything i can think of, nothing shows.....

I don't quite understand your problem, but I assume it's something with fresh installation.

I recommend you do hot start installation. In zip package you got from us there is one zip ending like this: ...hot_start.zip . Copy content of that archive to your web root folder. Browse your base link to start installation. remember to click on "Install Sample Data".

I have the same problem (running Joomla! 2.5.4). Nor do modules appear if placed in positions: Left, Right, Top, Footer or Bottom. Position 2 knocks the whole template out of line and Position 7 seems to be 'Left'

Can you confirm that Hot Relief is in fact Joomla 2.5 compatible please?

Menu Tag ID = nav in module settings

Thank you Ivan, yes, Menu Tag id is set to 'nav'in menu module.

I have also tried to place any module, not just a menu module, in position USER3 and these are not displayed either. Nor in position TOP etc...

Unfortunately I cannot give you access to the site as it is on a development server and not publically available.
