Hi There,
I'm using sparky and when I turn the iPad horizontally the browser crashes (safari) I also tried it on the iPad using firefox and it did the same thing. When I turn the iPad vertically it loads perfectly. I think it has something to do with the extra resources in the main menu before its converts to the tiny nav??? Any ideas as to how to fix this? Javascript was turned on in both browsers. I cleared the cache in both browsers.

Many people so far are experiencing this issue. The website is www.dgicreative.com

Any help would be absolutely greatful!

Unfortunately problem is in devices. As you can read on forum that happens for example on ipad1 whose is upgraded to IOS 5 and device apparently can not handle it fully:

discussions.apple.com/thread/3379861?start=555&tstart=0

btw. on my IPad1 you page crashes 2-3s after i start to see some graphic loading

Thanks for the article. Its a frustrating issue, I have a 7" android Jelly Bean tablet and the website doesn't crash. But on an iPad 4 it crashes when held horizontally but not when held vertically!

I understand that it could be an iPad issue but how does that explain your iPad1?

Does the website crash on your iPad1 when held vertically with tiny nav present?

I know the website has a lot of portfolio graphics but how can it load on a simple android tablet and not an elaborate iPad?????

Thanks, I'm lost! lol

As in that link, browser can not handle memory consumption (images mostly)

Okay so you are saying Sparky is completely not at fault here? Its hard to believe that a product like an iPad could not have enough memory but my little android jelly bean would load site fine? I just can't see telling my client that its the device causing the problem.

Could you visit the about us page at dgicreative.com/about-us and tell me if it crashes? Then I would be able to isolate the issue.

I will definitely share that article you've shared with me to my client but if he says "other sites load fine so why doesn't mine?" Then I'm going to be stuck.
