Hi!
Yes, you are right. The MODESC is on. If I turn it off, it works. But how can we make Sparky Editor to be functional with MODESC on? If I turn it off, I get this message from cPanel:
Warning: ModSecurity is disabled for one or more of your domains. Only disable ModSecurity while you troubleshoot a problem with your configuration. Without ModSecurity enabled, your domains lose the extra layer of protection that the module provides.

Hello,
The ModSecurity must be disabled and this is a requirement of Joomla, not our page builder.
Regards,
Milos

Hi!
Can you please help us with a link to Joomla! documentation where it recommends disabling ModSecurity? I need to give it to our hosting provider.

Hello,
Actually, mod_security can be enabled but must be properly configured for Joomla. I don't know the details, but this is not the issue on many major hosting providers we are using, such as Scala Hosting, Hostinger, A2 Hosting, etc.
Regards,
Milos

Hi
Your hosting provider engineer should allow this block. Unfortunately I dont know what my hosting engineer allowed exactly to get this working again. You can use developer tools when browsing and open the network tab to see which files get blocked, maybe that can assist them. But my Mod_security is enabled and I suggest it should be enabled for website security. There should be logs they can view.

I switched it off using Security section in Cpanel.
once off, Sparky back to normal.
Not sure about security implications of this but presume once site work completed it can be switched back on again.
