The zip file is missing an xml setup file

I guess this is where we are. After following your instructions word for word, and sinking about 10 hours into doing this numerous times, your template keeps saying there is a missing xml file.

What email address do I send my information to, or should I just pay the money on your shopping cart?

So zip you got from us contains other zip, among them is standalone template installation and hot_start(recommended) - whole joomla withe demo data like on our demo site

How do you mean this:

you defined your password during installation

After the template was installed, I am no longer able to login with my username and password. I get this..(See attached)

When you do installation, there is an step where you define your username/password for administrator account first time. Installation would not let you if you did not do that so try remember it or install again and this time write that you type on some paper

I just paid you $30.00 to do the installation for me because the template was not showing up in the template manager. I was obviously able to sign in just fine up until YOU installed the template. YOU INSTALLED THE TEMPLATE. After YOU installed the template, I was no longer able to login with my username and password.
