How to install the example business site ?

Hello,

I have an existing subdomain directory on my server. I would like to replace it with the hot business example site.

I cleaned the directory, ftped hot_business15_hotstart.zip into it (I'm running Joomla! 1.5). But i cannot unzip it from the command line.

I get the message : "gzip: hot_business15_hotstart.zip: unknown suffix -- ignored"

1) What should I do to install the example site ?
2) How should mysql be configured ?

You should use unzip command or unzip on local computer and then upload by FTP or SFTP (I recommend Filezilla for that). Then follow instructions given in the PDF file.

I am trying to install the demo site hot_business template i purchased. the files are extracted on the server, the problem after I select language during installation the "next" button is not working (nothing happens). can someone please advice, could this be permission issue? i have googled this and was not able to find any solution.

If it does not freezes and it look like something is proccessing in background that can be due permissiom issues or missing files. Most times that is solver by repeating copying of hot_start files.

there is no hour class or processing stage. I have tried different browsers. i have uploaded the files to the server several times rename the file. nothing, it gets hangup during when I select language and click next - nothing happens. I notice after selecting language and when I click next - I see "#" sign at the end of the installation link...
