No pictures - J3 version

3 weeks ago I bought that module and I have installed it to a fresh joomla CMS.

Unfortunately all demo pictures doesn't appear. Now I checked all settings within the module itself and It is connected with the main menu. All settings are fine but no pics appear. I don't think, that there is a mistake in backend settings.

I think, there must be a mistake in the program code. So my question is, if here is someone, who could help me out with the corrected file(s)?

If there is someone who needs Backend Access, I will also help out.

But I will be honest: It's not ok to sell extensions what do not work! Won't it be checked before? It is not ok to search now for a solution and to correct the source code by the customer. I hope, it's my mistake, so I will retract my statement

It look like path to images folder is incorrect, by default it points to demo folder inside module folder. Check That. You can send admin access using 'Report To Moderator'

Ok , all is ok with module setting , path is default modules/mod_hot_flashes_menu/demo/menu and as you say it is there.
Now first check if you file permissions allow this images to be read, CHMOD folders:755 / files: 644 is ok to set.

Second thing you should try if CHMOD is also OK , open

modules\mod_hot_flashes_menu\tmpl\default.php

this line:

$bcg_images = glob($backgrounds_dir.'{*.png,*.jpg,*.jpeg,*.gif}',GLOB_BRACE);

modify like this:

$bcg_images = glob($backgrounds_dir.'*.*');

I have made all checks and settings, but nothing.

I have changed also the folder into /images/hotflashesmenu and set it up in the module and I also exchanged the code, nothing.

Other idea?
