Changing font colour in list view for Categories

Thank you. I did as you suggested but this only changed the colour of the font. I actually wanted to change the background colour of the header. I have managed to do this by going into template.css.css and changing this code:
.category th {
height: 30px;
background: #a29888;

Sorry for not making myself clear on what I required, as initially this is what I wanted to do, but you at least pointed me in the right direction
