Fix layout problem

One thing you should know is that if you re-size browser to see how it will look that will not work. To see how it would look on smaller screens re-size browser then refresh page. Some sizes are only calculated once on page load.

but there is another pending question:
with fixed layout the menu of the footer is in wrong position too (at all resizing dimensions)

Can you better describe that?
