Hi Milos
First of all Happy New Year!!
I have problem with SEO, the company that is positioning this website is telling me that some how google are indexing only one page (home one) and not others. Could you please tell me what could cause this? Also there are duplicates of my web and I don't know how to remove this. Please see what SEO company is telling me:
Code:
However this hasn't been set this up correctly so there are multiple versions of the site being found. This can create duplicate content and means Google will not know which version of the site to crawl efficiently. 1. https://www.ajaxbuilders.co.uk/ 2. http://www.ajaxbuilders.co.uk/ 3. http://www.ajaxbuilders.co.uk/index.php 4. https://www.ajaxbuilders.co.uk/index.php

Could you please let me know what i need to do to fix these problems?
Kind Regards!

Hello,

This is not template issue. You should add commands in .htaccess file to redirect index.php, like this:
Code:
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,9}\ /index\.php\ HTTP/ RewriteRule ^index\.php$ https://www.ajaxbuilders.co.uk/ [R=301,L]

and to redirect from HTTP to HTTPS, in Joomla global configuration select Force HTTPS option.

Best regards,
Milos

Hi Milos

As usual you were right ;) however there is one small thing I need to correct in order to get SEO team to proceed.
When I'm using for example top menu and going for example to "Services" sometimes in the address bar I can see:
Code:
https://www.ajaxbuilders.co.uk/index.php/services
And I should have
Code:
https://www.ajaxbuilders.co.uk/services
And I don't know how to permanently get rid of this "index.php" from the address,

Kind regards
Greg
