Removing black title background was created by ukgreg

Hi there, i'm trying to remove this black background from the slider:

Please edit file /modules/mod_hot_image_slider/tmpl/default.php and remove this:

}

Am afraid that it did not worked. After removing part of the code the black semitransparent strip is still there.
