Changing site name

Problem is: There is no "Page Display Options" menu in joomla 2.5, or it is named differently.

I know this is an old post. I have tried all that was suggested and yet unable to change the site name. Here is the site: 2016.cinefranco.com for some reason it says Cinefranco 2015 which was last years site. I have tried looking for where to change this and still unable. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

Please edit the default menu item (the one marked with a star). When you edit the menu item, under Page Display tab, you can change name of your site.

I have looked at item many times and still unable to find where the site name is coming from.
unless I am looking at the wrong item which I doubt. Any other ideas?

Hello,

I see you have multiple languages. For French language it shows the correct name. Each language has its own default menu item (home). Make sure you changed both default menu items.
