Milos hi, I am trying to install with hotstart as you suggest in your article, locally, in order to have a copy of your demo site and help myself out with designing our new site. I am designing our new site also locally. We dont have enough space on our webhosting, to have both, current site and new site (hotfurniture) with products.
Before i finish the installation as i have described in my previous posts, i get the previously described mysql error. So, if you can please connect with team viewer (my laptop is in eglish language), it would be great. If you can not, still i appreciate your efforts and I will give it another try myself and try to figure it out... I am sorry for this inconvenience i know that you try to help within reasonable customer expectations.

It would be just too much we provide you service like that. You can buy our extra time but consider that you have problem on your laptop and that is not the same as hosting server.

1. I can argue that its a problem of my laptop, since all other templates (including your own that you worked with teamviewer previously), have completed the installation succesfully. The same stands for the default joomla template (The same way you can argue that in other users your template works).
2. Although i have succesfully installed your template in my existing site, i have not been able to install it with the "Hot_STart" method, locally. That means that is something "incompatible" betwween my laptop and your database, although my laptop has every other template and database succesfully installed.
3. Whether logging in a webserver or through teamviewer, i dont think its such a big difference. Besides in your article you suggest to install it locally, or create a webserver subdirectory.
4. If you have any charge policy for such issues, then you should state it clearly on your website. This should be a company policy, so that users can see this. If at some point in time you say to a customer "you have to pay for this" then it doesn't sound good, no matter if its justified or not.
Now i have talked a lot, we dont need to have a pointless argument. Both your time and mine, are valuable, i agree. I just wrote my opinion above, its up to you to trash it or take it under consideration, i just wrote my opinion as a customer.
Ivan, Milos, because i need your help i would like to buy some time for support. And also, since i am going to pay, could i ask your help in a couple of other things, regarding the integration of your template in my existing virtuemart? E.G, my product images are not shown in virtuemart!! Please tell me how much it costs, and i would like to pay by credit card please.
Regards,
Dionisis

"Yes, this is correct version. Please edit file /installation/mysql/sql/sample_data.sql in Notepad and change TYPE=MyISAM to ENGINE=MyISAM everywhere. Then try again"
The above statement did not solve the problem.
The problem was solved by replacing TYPE=MyISAM to ENGINE=MyISAM to the file joomla.sql that is in the directory /installation. To find the file use the search of windows.
If in the next step you encounter that your browser does not accept cookies, dont worry. Press (previous and then again next) and everything will be fixed.
