hot start process not producing demo site

i have sent the details to you. I have tested on live server just now and am getting the same result as offline server, the hot start pack does not appear to do anything other than install the the default joomla site.

even when installing the data sample set, there is not other option in the drop down list other than default joomla data. Look forward to finding out what the issuse is, thanks for assisting
