I've set up a test site for you to look at the issue with. The URL for it is here: www.paulmullenfinewoodworking.com/mullenjoomla.test . The code on this site is using the "Ask a question about this product" button, and it generates the error "500 - Layout default not found" when you click on the "Send your Question" button.

Please let me know how to resolve this error as soon as possible.

Hello,

Make sure you are running the latest version of VirtuMart. The latest version is 2.0.11. Also, make sure that you server is capable to send emails. In example, you can test this in user registration part? Do you received any email from the site ever?

I installed the template to another location using the sample data. When I select a product, and do the same function "ask a question about this product", I get the same error when I click the "Send your Question" button.

I am running this on my local machine to test this.

I am using Virtuemart 2.0.10 and when I attempt to do an update, it says I already have the latest version.

Please let me know what I should do next.

Please disregard the local installation and let's work on the live server so I can help you.

Are you sure that this (live) server is capable of sending emails? Did you check email configuration in Global Configuration of Joomla?

The live server is capable of sending emails. I did check the configuration in Global Config of Joomla and am attaching the screen print of what it's set to now. Please let me know what the correct settings should be if what I have is incorrect.

Yes, this is correct, but have you received any emails from the server, in example when trying to open an account or when using the contact form?

Upgrade to VM 2.0.11 can be performed manually and it's not complicated. Please read this: www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/blog/news/133...irtuemart-200-stable

What you need to do update from 2.0.10 to 2.0.11 is very similar.
